For sure, we also spent a lot of time looking at HostMonster's ability to be reliable during high peak traffic times, which can often bring a website crashing down. Of course, reliability is critical when your business depends on your website being up 100% of the time without a hitch. This was the case with Host Monster as they impressed with their superb reliability.

While offering tremendous value, service, and reliability is extremely important, they are closely tied to a customer's ability to use their products. Therefore, having an easy-to-use interface is also critical. Host Monster is anything but a monster when it comes to using it. Their user-friendly website design was a dream to work with. Easy, intuitive, and just simple to use is what made this hosting interface stand out among the rest.

We made sure that we called customer service several times during out trial to test the friendliness and knowledge base of the representatives. Sure enough, every time we called we were greeted with happy, patient and very knowledgeable reps.

Coming in a very strong second place was Blue Host. We were excited to take a look at this very impressive company's host offerings. In recent years, they have made a name for themselves in pushing the boundaries of what a hosting company does and offers to its customers.

Blue Host has turned up the heat on the competition and we now know why. They offer unlimited domain hosting, unlimited space, unlimited email accounts, unlimited GB transfer space. They also offer free site building templates and a free domain with their service.

Blue Host also offers SSL certificates for those interested in selling online securely, website statistic tools, and free email, chat, or phone support. In addition, their service was strong and reliable, even during high peak traffic times.

In the last several months, they have revamped their website to make it more user friendly, which they have. They also throw in a free $75 Google Advertising credit with their packages.

While coming in at a close second, Blue Host remains an excellent option for anyone wanting to start a website with reliable hosting service and therefore deserves our second pick.

Making an easy choice, we listed Host Gator as our third and final choice among those hosting companies we analyzed.

Host Gator has carved out quite a reputation over the years as a cutting edge web hosting company and has earned many industry accolades, so we were excited to carefully study their services.

They offer a solid web hosting solution at a very competitively priced product offering, with lots of extras. And while they also have great service and competitively priced, we found their user interface a little confusing and difficult to maneuver. If seasoned website veterans had trouble, we could only imagine what newbies would go through.

Still, we were very happy with Host Gator, and they remain a solid third choice in our assessment.
